My model is a scale star size comparison, and is approximately 17 billion meters across. I have run into intense lag and problems with the pan tool, but when I zoom in to the sun and the planets, the clipping plane cuts away all of my vision. It is over 30 MB, too big to even paste.
Your model is 17 billion meters wide? That’s beyond enormous. SketchUp is really not designed to handle entities that large with geometry that far from the origin, the camera is likely to behave very poorly. You could scale the model down but if you are trying to model astronomical distances accurately then the space between entities is likely to spread out your entities too far from the origin at any scale.
You could try using the outliner to select entities and then use the zoom to selection in right click, or at least use copy paste to extract some elements out into another file.
