Changing Default Units in Sketchup for Schools

Hi,

We just started testing SketchUp for Schools with some of our design teachers and this is the question that came up right away that we can’t seem to find an answer to:

Are there default school settings that can be applied to make metric the default unit used in designs in your G suite organization?

There should be a button, top left I believe, for Preferences.
Click that and go to the Model info tab and select metric there.

I think the default template is set to feet and inches and there is no preference setting, yet. You must create a new file from template :

and choose Metric. Check the About my.sketchup for monthly updates.
