Can't update my Layout

Hi I have been trying to update my Layout in Document Setup as I have made some changes in Sketchup.
Somehow I seem to have embedded an image and Layout won’t let me remove this or update with my latest Sketchup changes.
I have tried updating the other file name but it doesn’t do anything.
Can anyone suggest what I can do?
Thanks.

It appears the .png is your logo image from your template. You can’t remove it from the file unless you first delete it from any pages where it is used. After it’s gone from the document you should be able to purge it by selecting it as in your screen shot and then clicking the Purge button.

As for the .skp file, the file name shows you have inserted the backup of the backup of a file called Elevated section 4.skp. The two ~ in the file name are the clue. If you’ve been editing Elevated section 4.skp instead of Elevated section4~~.skp, then those changes should not be expected to show up in LayOut since they are totally separate SketchUp model files. You could and probably should select the .skp reference in Document Setup and then choose Relink. Select the correct file. Assuming you haven’t modified the scene properties for the viewports in the document, the viewports should update to show the latest version of the linked file.

When inserting SketchUp files into LayOut and even when opening models in SketchUp to edit them you must pay attention to the file name. Normally you shouldn’t be editing SketchUp files with tildes in their file names.

Thanks, Dave. I think you did explain that to me before. Doh! Sorted now.
