I have a file which contains a large object (ho not a big overall file size at 4MB). If I change the dimensions in other software, seems I lose all the tags.
How can I find my file so I can change dimensions?
Thanks.

What other software? I’m unclear what your question is, can you say more about your process and what “software” you are using? Your file opens correctly in SketchUp for me. includes tags, and appears to be correctly sized?
Sorry, somehow I couldn’t see my file and tried zooming in and out. Yes, starting over works
Btw, ,in re-sizing, I don’t see how I can set dimensions. It shows numbers in a text bar on the bottom right, but they seem like I cannot change them.
Thanks.
by default, it tells you the resizing ratio. so if it says 2, you’re making it twice bigger.
(the ratio is simple “new size” divided by “old size”)
but instead, you can specify units. so say you grab the top handle that changes the blue direction (height) of your object. you type 2, it’ll be twice taller. you type 2m it’ll be 2m tall, regardless of the initial size.
pretty nifty
What are you “re-sizing” and how are you doing it? Using the scale tool? With green handles?
I was using the green dots and held the Shift key. now it seems like it is not necessary. And now I see the Scale at the bottom off the page. II could swear I was getting coordinates.
Anyway, thanks mmch
