Hi @zjacobsohn, thanks for the post. That error can be caused by a number of issues, so we will have to do some work to nail down the exact cause. The first step is to confirm that the app was deployed via a super admin account and that all the steps outlined in the instructions were followed correctly. It sounds like you already did that though so we can jump ahead to the next step, clearing the cache and cookies.
Sometimes an outdated file gets stuck in there and can cause the computer to display that error instead of just starting SketchUp. If you can clear them out and let me know if that still shows the same error, that would be really helpful.
Finally, there is a chance that our security software is being a little overzealous and is keeping you from connecting to the servers. the previous steps don’t work, let me know the domain you are using and link me your website. After I have the domain and can confirm a few settings via your website I can add you to our database to override the security software.
Additionally, if you would prefer a comprehensive video on how to deploy the app that should get you up and running, you are welcome to check this video out:
By the way, I called up Google support just to double check that I’ve deployed sketchup correctly through the admin console, and they have confirmed that that was done correctly.
Turns out - it works when I do “Sign in with Microsoft” but not with Google - the domain I use is on both Microsoft and Google, and the email address I used has an account on both and we’re about to get rid of the Microsoft side of things so it really needs to work on Google.
I’ve now tried clearing the cache and cookies, and have also attempted using a different browser, and this hasn’t worked unfortunately.

Thanks for the followup @zjacobsohn and sorry for the delay in my posting.
I just spoke with our resident expert Tori and she said that the app may not have been deployed on the Google side of things yet. Can you verify that you deployed it on the Google side and not just on the Microsoft side? Also, can you verify that you followed all the steps outlined in this video:
Here is how we worked around this issue:
When they get to the error screen…
Click on sign in with google
confirm email
on next screen cancel sign-in then click continue
If a popup appears scroll down and click “allow”
Sketchup should open each time.
