Can't get Go running on my pc

So I have purchased Go a few months ago. And every time I try to go in and run it, it’s a learning experience trying to get it running. this is the web based version I think. Today, when I attempt to open Sketchup 2023 in my file manager, it just gives me a black pop up screen with sketchup graphics at the top of the popup. then I get some kind of error message asking me to fill it out what happened and it sent it in to sketchup. Some glitch. So this Trimble company that bought this program, is about to be reported to my State Attorney General for larceny. It’s the biggest scam on the internet. Google used to have a good product. Now I have years worth of work on my PC saved and I can’t access it. It’s ********.

The Go subscription lets you use the online version of SketchUp, not any desktop version.
If you have an old “classic” license from @Last, Google or Trimble you can still use it with the original SketchUp version it was issued for, but it won’t work with newer versions. You haven’ been scammed.

That’s al lI needed. Thank you! So I find it by using a web page, and not a program or app on my pc . Thanks.

Correct. This is why it is called “SketchUp for Web”. It is a cloud app.

FYI … there is also an online User Guide:

… which says right at the start …

SketchUp for Web is a version of SketchUp that runs in a browser. This web-based modeler is a streamlined version of our desktop app and uses the same core technology to help you draw and create awesome 3D models.

SketchUp for Web does not require a SketchUp subscription. All you need is a web browser, your Trimble ID, and your imagination to start modeling!

Even though you can use SketchUp for Web without a subscription, we do have an option that can enhance your experience. A SketchUp Go subscription adds several features not available to non-subscribers, including unlimited cloud storage in Trimble Connect, expanded functionality in SketchUp for Web, and even access to SketchUp for iPad.

Now, Gary, knowing where you went wrong in the original post, don’t you think you should edit it to remove the bombastic slanders and legal threats you made against Trimble and SketchUp ?
