I’m a very new user trying to model a 3d part to print. When I use Solid inspector it just deletes parts. What am I doing wrong!

Well shoot, right after posting this I went back and figured it out.
I selected the whole object, right clicked and selected “Intersect Faces with Model”
That seemed to do the trick. I ran Solid inspector and got a good result.
Glad you have it sorted out.
Next time you have an issue, share the .skp file, not the .stl. Let us see the actual model you are working with.
