# Cannot select single element

Hello, please if you can watch the clip.  
I cannot select a single elements… when I try, a strange surrounding selected box appears around the entire object.  
Sorry not easy to explain the clip sayi it all

hello, you are facing a group or component, double click to edit it.

go through basic trainings or tutorials such as :

You don’t need to ungroup it, you just need to open the group for edit. Either double-click the group or right-click and select edit. Then you can select and modify things inside the group.
