Cannot save my model

I just created a new model. After several attempts I cannot save it

In which version of SketchUp? Where are you trying to save the file? What happens when you try to save it?

SketchUp Web version.
I get an error message that the model could not be saved with no reason why

Can you download it to your computer?

I tried; I get the error message: “An error occurred when downloading the model”

How large is the file? Have you added a bunch of content from the 3D Warehouse?

I just started it. It consists of the 3D shape of a single family residence. Just the “box” and a roof. Nothing else

As a matter of fact, the “saving” function has been operating for the last hour with nothing happening

I fear that I’ll just have to delete this and start over!

I’m curious. Your profile says you have a SketchUp Studio subscription. Have you also tried creating the file with the desktop version and saving that?

I had to leave for an appointment.
But I will try to copy it and paste it in the desktop version.

Dave, I was wrong. My subscription is SketchUp Go, not Studio.

Please update your forum profile, then. As it is that creates confusion.

What browser are you using for SketchUp Go? You could try a different browser. Also you might try clearing the browser’s caches.

Saving with SketchUp Go is working for me. So same SketchUp version but maybe a different browser, different set of cookies and temp internet files, etc.

Well, this morning I reloaded the Trimble website and my model came back with some work removed - but saved! So I’m in the process of rebuilding what was deleted and it’s all working now!
