# Cannot paint a face with materila- Materials/Paint not working SketchUp 2025

Anyone experiencing problems with adding a colour/material to a face in SketchUp Pro? I emailed support yesterday with a video, and no response. The computer has been restarted and I have also tried an order version to no avail! Disappointed I can’t get this project sent out.

Are you using some other display style than Shaded with Textures?

All sorted thanks for your replies- I started a new document and the face style defaulted to hidden line. One of your replies prompted me to check the face style thank you.
