I think this may be your main problem. SketchUp 2021 supports Windows 10 not Windows 7. See: https://help.sketchup.com/en/sketchup/system-requirements
What Dave says about the system requirements is right, though at least with SketchUp 2021 it will open in Windows 7 & 8, and show a warning message. But even if it didn’t work, downloading from the web site should be ok.
Try this as a way to immediately get the Windows installer:
no nothing has worked almost a week into the free trial and can’t open it why would i buy it ?
