# Cannot contact the geolocation service

I could not able to add the geolocation in SketchUp since the morning. I took the error snap and attached it here.

I know it is not a new issue, that happened a few years ago also.

Does anybody know another way to add geolocation to SketchUp?

There are already several threads on this topic. I’m seeing the same thing although it worked fine for me last night. I expect there’s a server down somewhere.

This is not an ongoing continual issue. It’ll likely be resolved shortly.

I do, too. I expect it will. You can check the Status page periodically to get updates.
