Not that complicated a row of square landing lights that can be seen from space, modelling them isn’t the issue, finding a light bulb that big to go in them on the warehouse is
i want to see what would be like standing at the base of one of those things and looking at its eve. I wish i knew how tall they were. if those shadows are any indication, it must be hundreds or thousands of feet. how have I never seen or heard of whatever this thing is before.
Back at you: can you find any other map of Pacific Ocean bathymetry that shows those features? I haven’t been able to! Can you find any other instances or references to real natural features so geometrically regular?
To me, those look suspiciously like artifacts from data processing that works on rectangular blocks. For example jpeg.
You have to use subD to see that seabed geometry properly. The person who modeled that portion understands that not every file on the 3dwarehouse needs to be 13,437,997 faces to describe a cube. And my guess is this is the low poly version for LayOut. You can turn on subD for rendering.
Or you know, aliens.
