BugSplat on launch

I have a MacBook Pro (2015) and a MacBook (2015) and I have installed SketchUp 2017 on both. SketchUp Make crashes upon launch on both of these machines. A BugSplat app is launched, but there is no window. I have downloaded, reinstalled, trashed Preferences and Application Support files, and corrected filesystem permissions multiple times. Nothing works.

The only thing I can think of is that both of these Macs have a case-sensitive filesystem (not the default from Apple).

Other than that, is there anything else I can do to get this working on at lease one of the Macs?

Just like Adobe and a lot of other apps, case-sensitive filesystems are not supported.
