Bring SketchUp to Android and Huawei Tablets

We are requesting the SketchUp team to develop an official SketchUp application for Android and Huawei devices. Thousands of designers, architects, and 3D artists use powerful Android tablets with excellent hardware, large displays, and professional stylus support. However, they cannot access the same SketchUp experience currently available on iPad. Many professionals have invested in high-end Android and Huawei tablets but are forced to consider changing devices only because SketchUp is not available on their platform. We believe designers should have the freedom to choose their preferred hardware while still having access to professional tools. We kindly ask SketchUp to listen to its community and bring a full-featured SketchUp app to Android and Huawei tablets. Please support this request by SketchUp android #Huawei #3DDesign #InteriorDesign

hi.

in short, too many devices, on too many versions of android, with too many manufacturer overlays on top, and too many ■■■■ tablets.

meanwhile, in the US, 60% of tablets are from apple, 55% average worldwide. Africa is the only continent where Samsung is first.

so, I guess, for the same reason we don’t have an official linux sketchup pro version. market share is too low and they don’t want to invest ressources.
(difference is, someone ported SU pro 26 on linux, where on android, you’re stuck with SU web)

in theory ?
sure.
but it’s never been the case. if you want total freedom on the OS side you go linux but then you’re restricted on the software side.
and if you want total freedom on the software side, then pretty much windows, but then your os is a malware.
same here. you can have the tablet you really want. or you can have a tablet with a native shetchup on it.
