Version 4.7.1 released
- Dedicated Crash Report Window: In version 4.7.1 (and later), we’ve introduced a new dedicated Brighter3D crash report window. This makes it easier to capture and submit detailed reports directly when an issue occurs, helping us diagnose and resolve problems faster.
- Improved Stability: With ongoing optimizations, Brighter3D is now significantly more stable. In my own testing over the past month, crashes have become rare—occurring in roughly 1 out of 20 launches (if at all)—and the trend continues to improve. Many reported issues appear to stem from SketchUp itself rather than Brighter3D.
- Full Compatibility with SketchUp 2026.1: Brighter3D is fully compatible with the latest SketchUp update (2026.1, released in December 2025), which brings its own stability improvements and new features like integrated AI tools. This ensures a smooth experience without compatibility conflicts.
