I watched this great interview yesterday (It’s a year old) with the man himself- Inventor of SketchUp. The interview delved into the development of the software and the highs and lows of creating a startup. The vision he had was obviously amazing, as users can see. One thing that struck me was that the way he introduced his vision to the marketplace was as important as the vision itself. It was his attitude that made all the difference. Otherwise it would have been just a great idea sitting on a shelf somewhere or turned into something else with a narrower vision- for the purposes of commercial gain- which would be ironically more-than-likely a lot less than what SU became worth.
Well worth a watch!
