Just a note, I do not use the iPad or phone version other than viewing as well. However I do think in some cases, for example Corel Painter, don’t fix what is not broken should be the montra of any programmer. Applications that end up so loaded down they look like SketchUp with every extension available loaded!! The success of any application is make it versatile for all disciplines to customize it with extensions for their needs. I still marvel at very young children and how efficient they are with SketchUp, they may not have the technical knowledge yet, that what they design is feasible to build but they sure know how to use the program! They do not know a world without computers, just as future generations will not know one without A. I. Let’s hope it will improve us not try and destroy us.
