Back edges in Styles window is greyed out. Why?

I want to show the back edges in one of my scenes of my model. But when I click on the Edges box, the Back Edges box is grey and I can’t activate it. Why not?

Is the Face Style set to Wire Frame? That will cause Back Edges to be unavailable. If that’s not it, share the .skp file so we can see what you’re working with.

Are you still using SketchUp 2020 as your profile indicates?

Yes, it was set to wire frame. Thanks. BTW I am using 2024 version.
