Hi all,
Our team have been building a small web tool called ArchVizr and thought this might be useful to share here, since a few similar AI-render tools have already been posted in this category.
The core idea: you upload a SketchUp export (or a hidden-line/massing screenshot), and it generates a photorealistic render back — same camera angle, same geometry as what you drew. No plugin to install, no extra CAD license needed, and a render usually comes back in under a minute.
The thing I focused on most is not letting the AI quietly “redesign” the building. A few other tools I tried would shift a window or resize an opening that wasn’t in the original drawing — easy to miss until a client points it out. ArchVizr is built to hand back exactly the elevation you drew, just rendered.
Right now we are also opening up a few beta testing spots — if you’re interested, feel free to drop your email in the replies (or DM me) and I’ll set you up with a free month of the Starter plan to try it properly on a real project.
A few things it currently does:
- Exterior rendering — try different facade materials (brick, corten, cedar, board-formed concrete…) on the same building without redrawing
- Interior rendering — carries the same material palette from the exterior into interior shots
- Landscape rendering — adds planting/paving context around the building
- Relighting — same building, different time of day (golden hour vs. overcast) without a new export
First render is free if anyone wants to try it on their own SketchUp export — happy to hear feedback, especially on cases where it gets the geometry wrong, since that’s the part I care most about getting right.
