Annoying pattern

I hope the image turns out ok…
Other than a dabble with sketchup some time ago, I am a newbie.

It is a bracket made of 75x75x6 Equal Angle…
The radius edges show up with a hideous dark repetitive pattern.
How do i remove the annoying pattern (is it a render, a texture, pattern - other?).

Can anyone help…

Go to the View menu and turn off Hidden Geometry.
