Aligning viewport to page grid

I have a viewport set to ortho, front view, with a scale of 2:1
Here’s the scene in Sketchup - a square 1" to a side, lower left corner at origin. Front view:

Here’s the scene in Layout:

I want to align the lower left corner of the square to the paper grid, but can’t seem to make it happen. I can drag the viewport around with grid snap off to get pretty close, but I would think it should be possible to grab a corner of an object in the viewport and snap it to the grid.

Move the blue gizmo to the corner of the rectangle in the viewport and then move the viewport until the gizmo snaps to the point on the grid you are interested in.

Nope, I’m all the way up to 2020. Good enough for my needs.
