I wanted to share a conference we recently recorded about AI and SketchUp, and how the two can actually work together in a practical way.
In this session, we explore:
How AI can enhance your projects with assisted renders
Quickly testing different visual styles in seconds
Where AI really helps… and where it doesn’t
How to stay in control of your creative process
The talk is led by Pierre Broca, a SketchUp user for 19 years and trainer for 10, very active on the SketchUp forum and recognized as a SketchUp Sage. He brings a grounded, experience-based perspective on how these tools are evolving.
This conference was recorded during our annual Totally SketchUp event, where 150 professionals gathered to share ideas, experiment, and push the limits of SketchUp.
Oh god, I completely forgot this was released today.
so, the tl;dw for people who don’t want to watch / liste to me is basically this
interesting tool, still needs a lot of work before you get a proper result, easy to get lost in it and produce slop. also, I really hate the “beige” trend going on, and I think people who put dried fluffy plants in vases deserve some jail time.
** Edit: 10am break so thought I’d watch the first few minutes. Sadly YouTubes AI generated Auto Dub feature has made it pretty unwatchable - which is ironic
I wish I could remember the French we were taught in school but that was a long long long time ago now
**Edit - 2: I got over the initial voice change and random nonsensical words. A great talk and 100% agree with everything said.
