Adding a tag hides group

Hi everyone. I’m working through a sketchup course and when i add a tag to a group via entity info or using the click to tag, the group disappears.

Turn on that tag, or move your tag outside the folder Geolocation

thanks Mihai! Clicking all the tags on an off changes nothing unfortunately. Even changing the folder doesnt work sadly. I still cant see where it goes unless i hit undo. Any ideas?

Tested in SUP2025 but should work the same in SUP2026.

You still had the Geo Location Tag Group turned off (as @mihai.s mentioned) when you turned on that x-sketchplan tag, which is also seated inside that group you turned off :wink:

below you can see i..

  1. turned off that geo location tags group
  2. moved the new group to the x-sketchplan tag using the entity info
  3. turned on the geo location tag group which contains that x-sketchplan tag
  4. turned off other then x-sketchplan tags inside that group
  5. you will see the new group was hiding behind the geo location

In SU2026 it works as expected, if you follow one of the steps I indicated.
