'Add photo texture' problem, FOV too great for capture

Hi all,

I’m having problems with the ‘add photo texture’ feature.

Upon loading the google street view window, the field of view angle is about 180 degrees! The building faces are seriously warped and unusable.

Is there a way to change the FOV for the Google street view window?

Google street view on my web browser has a much more normal FOV; the building face edges are straight.

Watching tutorials online I see others don’t have this problem. The tutors seem to have a FOV of about 90.

Please help as this feature appears useless in its current form.

Doesn’t FOV change as you zoom in and out?

Nothing in the photo really changes, but the extent of the image will change. Thus, giving you less or more FOV.
