When I go to add a location the map of the address shows up but when I go to import site context it moves the map to the middle of the ocean. I know there was a recent update in the extension, and this is the first time I have tried to use it since the update.
I have closed out of sketchup and reopened it and keeps putting me in the middle of the ocean.
what do I do?!
Are you using SketchUp 2021 as indicated in your forum profile? What location are you trying to insert?
i just added a video, I am using SketchUp 2024

Thanks for the video. what is happening there is that during the import site context phase, add location tries to place the map to show the whole of your model. Because you already have a model (the blue box in the first second of your video) and it is larger than the possible screen size (or a long way from the origin), it gets placed in the middle of the geometry. You should still be able to move around the map to choose your import area, or alternatively remove that existing large geometry.

I tried moving my map around to get the area, its fine though I created a new file and am going to just copy my model into new file.
