Accurately rotate floorplan in Layout error "invalid string"

Hi
I’ve inserted a group slice floorplan into Layout. I need to rotate it by about 2°. I’ve selected the rotate function but every time I try to type in a value it comes up with “invalid string”. Anyone any idea what I’m doing wrong?

I’ve tried either

“2”
and
“2°”

Same error message either way

Are you starting to rotate it with the rotation handle first? After you do, you should be able to let go of the mouse and type 2 then hit Enter.

Aaaaah!! It was letting go of the mouse that sorted me!

I’m having the same error but when I let go of the mouse after clicking the rotate handle, it releases the command entirely. So basically I can only rotate freely but not enter a value. Just need to be able to rotate orthogonally 90 degrees but cannot find a way too…very frustrating.
