A simple set of 8 drawings takes over an hour to render in Layout. I have a 2019 MacBook Pro with 32 gb of ram and a Vega video card. Sketchup 2020 on 10.15.5

Will this ever be fixed?

It’s been an hour and I have rendered 5 of the 8 drawings.

Will I be late for my meeting?

No, only because I planned a day ahead of time.

Where is the solution, Sketchup team? One of your posters said the PC version of Sketchup 2020 received many improvements for graphic performance in Layout. What about the Mac version?

This issue has been discussed a plenty but NEVER fixed.

So I am posting it front and center.

When is the fix coming???

How simple? For example, what size is the SU file? How many edges and surfaces?

I produce many drawings that have way more than 8 pages and I suspect my Mac is older than yours (my video card is only 512 Mb), but I don’t experience your problem. However, my base SU drawings are not highly complex normally.
