Upcoming Feature: Grid Sets
Version 2.1.0 is scheduled for release in mid-January
Can we have multiple sets on plan view too?
Sure, man. At the end of the clip I have a demo 'bout creating sets for Column Grid. ![]()
@JQL more details here.
Happy new year! Diagonal column grids . ![]()

Best wishes to everyone! And especially to @Cyentruk who keeps surprising us with amazing features!
Here is how you can play around with Grid Sets.
This is very promising. But it would be a huge, life changing, promise if we could pair it up with diagonal sections ![]()
PS: I know, I know… my insistence on this topic is annoying!
hello I am finally getting into really using this amazing tool. Thanks so much for developing it! I am trying the space labels function to add labels for rooms and, ideally, display the area for each room. I have my units set to architectural because I want my linear dimensions to display in architectural units (feet and inches) but I want the space labels to display the area in square feet. When I go to model info and try to change the drop down menu so that the area is calculated in square feet it doesn’t allow me to…any suggestions?
Sorry for the late reply — I’ve been quite busy working on the new version.
Your request has been noted and will be supported in the upcoming v2.1.0 update, which will allow Space Labels to display area in square feet, while keeping linear dimensions in Architectural units (feet and inches).
I’ve also prepared a video preview showing what’s coming next week, including a beta version for anyone who would like to test the new features early.
Thank you very much for using and supporting the tool!
thank you @Cyentruk on a separate question: is there a way to get the section cut marks to show up in the plans/elevations?
Yes, the section cut marks can be automatically drawn by pressing the button “Section Mark” in Labels. You can also draw the elevation marks by pressing “Elevation Mark” button, too. These functions apply for plan, elevation and section views.
thanks!
Hey! @Cyentruk I see a lot of dimensions there that seem made with Curic text. Is that a derived tool from 5D+ or curic text, that exists but I’m not aware of?
