I changed the location of the labels/grids folder and not all the marks are loading (even though they are all in the folder).
What could be the cause?
Thanks
@Cyentruk Is it possible to revert to the old grid structure?
In the video, the first grid structure is the old model (before ver. 1.8), after I reloaded the new grid marks, the circles are further from the plane, it doesn’t look ok
I believe inside grids folder you are pointing (except 2 folders style 1 and style 2), there are skp files for grid, so the extension using these files, and these are the old grids in small size.
You need to point directly to the folder contains the skp files, for example: must be point to style 1 folder, or style 2 folder, not the parent folder (grids folder) of 2 these folders.
New labels from 1.8.0 is bigger than the old one and I had mentioned about these changes in the release notes.
No, you can’t change the distance, this is changed according the larger size of new grid bubble to ensure the safe distance to handle translating bubbles when they are getting too closed.
I tested the creation of ‘detail’ views, based on the main floor plan`s section.
When refreshing the scene, some visual settings change - it looks like a bug to me.
@Cyentruk I often have to navigate into settings/ Custom settings/ annotations. change the folder, find the label, open the Su label to edit it.
Don’t you think it would be easier (like in the case of 5d styles) to make 3 variants of choosing the marks/labels model? With the left click, I could change 1 of 3 variants, with Ctrl+ left click open SU model directly to modify it.
problems with update of Level Labels (5D+ Plus 1.8.2):
Dear 5D+ users, I struggle to update the data in the level labels after amendments to the design/geometry. It appears that the Curic-single-line lost its link to the geometry?
What am I doing wrong? Comments would be appreciated
Here is what I tried, all unsuccessfully:
right-click > 5D+ Update selected annotation
right-click > 5D+ Update annotations in all scenes
right-click > Single-Line-Text > redraw
right-click > Single-Line-Text > re-link with model
right-click > Single-Line-Text > link tool (i had to press ESC because nothing happened…)
The level label is not updated from the context menu like other labels, because it not linked with any objects. The content of it is auto updated when changing its position by Z axis. If it’s not working, that is a bug in my code.
The level labels works like this gif. The labels use reference with “origin” will contain “code” inside, the other just contain normal text.
That Floor labels currently cannot automate the text. You need to manually edit the text.
If you want to automate the text, you can create the label your self with variables @.
I don’t think so. While working in a project, I rarely change the style of all annotations. So I think it shoul not confuse user by buttons like those.
When the label is imported into your model to create label, Curic Single Line Text will delete the objects inside the label and create new one. So it can not keep the material has assign frome deleted objects.
But you have another option by using tag in Curic Border. This will help you display “material” from tags for scenes using style like “White (W), Grey (G), Black (B) and Color by Tag (T)…” or any styles with Color by Tag mode is ON.
Then you can set the template label like this:
