In the new version, the UI is improved in expanding, collapsing the table, resizing columns and editing cells.

Draw the table into SketchUp model. This will help you create a scene for the table and use it in LayOut without manually inserting images. Tips: choose top view with parrallel projection, and change all texts to Height = 13mm for best result.

Is there a way to add a column where you can see the GROUP my subgroup is in ? For example, I built various elements (sinks, toilets…etc) and some of them are on the first floor, second floor… (or bathroom #1, #2…) and it appears in the column as a localisation to help me count them all.

This will be done in the next release.

One more question/feature request - the presets - it would be nice if the presets also remembered coloumn-widths and how the list was sorted (like by which column and a-z or z-a). From what I see, every time I reopen the window I need fiddle with this again.

The column widths are remembered from the last changed (latest version).

Hi @Cyentruk → would it be possible to make this field as big as the cell-height automatically. It’s a bit annoying adding description like that. I can drag the corner to make the field bigger but I have to do the every single time.

Hi there Musarrat Shah from Pakistan. Really happy to see such extension. Nice work. I tried the trial version. Any possibility to automate the dimensions. Also make. project based step by step tutorial like start the project ( Design ) to finish drawings ( PDF ) in English language. Current videos are helpful but confused when we look video for specific task or there is not much of our interest. Thank you.

Hi,
Maybe the plugins conflict? Could you open the Ruby Console to see any reports from there when click the icon on the toolbar?

I’m missing about column (X) x (Y), but editable tag and material is new (actually they are brought back and more stability after removed from previous versions).
It means you can doule click to choose tags and materials from a list.

Update: Another possible bug. After selecting a different material and then reselecting the component, the new material is not saved.

Update2: Don’t you think it would be better for “Show Total Row” to be placed here?

P/S: Control displaying for many languages is one of the hardest part. I must based on a language has longest string to control where to decide to hide buttons when user resizing windows. That’s the reason I don’t want to put the total row switch button in the footer at the begining.

Hey man, currently the extension is not support to get the global XYZ coordinates cause I thought there is not many user need them I can add it into the next update.

I just realized that this is much more tricky than I thought. If you’d include that you would likely go the same way that the native report generator would go, looking for the origin of each object and calculating the distance from the model origin. However, the origin of component can be basically anywhere. What I would need would be the centerpoint of the bounding-box of the component - not sure if this is a readily available information. If not this would likely be too big a hazzle.
