45 degree mitre in solid object

Hi All,

I am trying to put a 45 degree mitre at the end of this piece of decking, but I am having a bit of trouble. It says it is not a solid object, but a check elsewhere seems to think it is.

Any ideas?

I can’t see these. Isn’t there a tool to “tidy up” a solid object?

Found it now. Thanks a lot. I have now been able to subtract it using solid tools.

check solid inspector in the extension warehouse.
at best it’ll fix it. at worse it’ll highlight the problem in red.
