3D Text Tool Oddity

I don’t believe I’ve encountered this before. Some of the characters are “inside-out” when created. While it may have something to do with the font itself, it gives different results depending on the characters chosen, the order they appear, and whether they are preceded or followed by a whitespace character.

This happens in 8, 2015, 2016, and 2017.

That’s odd. I’ve never seen that before.

I figured it out … it’s the font. Where the characters overlap, the sense of the surface is reversed. Interesting :wink:

Interesting indeed. I don’t have that font but I played with a couple of others that overlap but they didn’t do the same thing. I wonder if it has to do with how they overlap.
