I had to ask tech support! Couldn’t find a way to set the time display to a 24 hour clock. This seems like a feature I will have to request!
In all other programs I have used this is taken care of. Usually by synchronizing with the system settings. Please consider us international users who have difficulty with the concepts of AM and PM.
hello,
I don’t know about mac, but on windows It is synchronized with my system. Not everywhere but at least there :
I’m on a Mac and it looks like this:
(Im new to this forum. Hope I managed to paste a screen capture. Though I don’t see it myself,)
I can see your screencapture.
Does the clock on your mac do display a 24 hour clock?
I have the same display as Harry.
My Macbook clock is set for a 24 hours display but the Shadow Window in SU shows AM and PM suffix.
SU shall offer the choice for that.
In supplement, I would like to able to specify the date format.
Here in Quebec, we use DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY.
I would also like to use the International date format of YYYY/MM/DD and, of course, hours as HH/MM/SS.
See here:
Definitely a glitch. And SketchUp is not the only one. My accounting software uses the system preferences - so I’d love for my calendar and clock to be proper for here in Switzerland - but in order for my currency to be correct (all my clients are in the US along with my bank) I cannot change it in Quickbooks, it only uses the system region preferences… even though you would think changing something as simple as the currency would be a preference within the damned accounting software.
¯_(ツ)_/¯
@kathy_davies is in charge of UI/UX things, she may know if there is an existing feature request for these things.
Yes. Just checked.
