2025 Sketchup very slow on new Mac M4 Max

Hi all - Installed latest Sketchup 25.0.633 on Mac MBP M4 Max 16" 40 core 4TB 64GB Sequoia 15.4 and loaded up a supplier’s draft wall unit design of only 64KB file size only to find that it is extremely slow to move around on the page. Almost unusable. Very surprised given this is a powerful Mac.

Local Sketchup app, not browser.

Am I missing something?

can you share the file ? so we can rule it out ?

I’m on a weaker mac mini M4, no issue yet

64KB doesn’t sound right

that’s very odd…

You had said it was slow to move around the page. Are you seeing slowness in LayOut? On my M4 Mac it seems fine, in SketchUp and in LayOut.
