I sometimes get a strange glitch after grouping something in 2025 version. part of my model dissappears after doing so. It’ll sometimes blink while orbiting around and for some reason hitting space is fixing it, just like if there was an operation going on.
the model weights 6Mb has 14M edges 6M and unfortunately I can’t share it, but has anyone bumped into similar behaviour ?
A 14 million edges model is very heavy, so SketchUp tries to allow you to orbit it by temporarily hiding things or showing only their bounding boxes.
Only this time no matter how long you wait, it’s never shown up again, unless you press space.
i wonder if it is related to the “having-to-move-mouse” to edit nested component, as hitting space also allows to deep open without moving mouse in this other case
Could you send me a copy of your model? There is a fix in 2025 that took care of an issue where orbiting might make some things disappear, so what you’re showing may be something new.
I’m sorry but I can’t share that one. If i bump into the issue on another one, I sure will !
