Rotating by reference points

How does one rotate an object, lets say a square, from one vertice, and place the square using the kiddie-corner vertice? If I knew how to post a picture for reference, I would…

There we go… So I want to rotate the truss web to the bottom corner of the top chords while anchoring it to the point of the the 2nd web as it is shown in the pic.

Use the ‘Arc’ tool, the one with ‘center and two points’ to get an arc from starting corner to target intersection. The ‘inference engine’ shows the target intersection with a little red cross.
Once you have drawn that arc, the ‘Rotation’ tool will snap the beam corner to the target intersection.

This comes up from time to time. Here’s one of the more recent editions.
