I would like to upload a new version of an existing dynamic component onto the 3D warehouse, but I can’t load it as a new component. It just wants to over write the old one, which I don’t want to do. I have changed the name and definition etc, but the warehouse still thinks it’s the same thing. Can anyone help?
Save As, and it’ll be a new one.
Assuming you’re trying to upload via SketchUp? The 3DW ID will probably stick with the file through a Save As. Try uploading the model via the web:
- go to 3dwarehouse.sketchup.com from your browser (chrome, IE, etc)
- Sign In
- Choose Upload a Model from the user menu
